Fairytale Feat Zombie Day~~

So, it's been like a week ago since I last updated my blog. I felt like I never really rested well this holiday. It's not a holiday to me since I am busy.
Busy with what? Busy with dance practise since the dance competition is nearing. This would be the fourth competition I had participated. If people were to ask me, would I be nervous to dance in front of such a large crowd? Well, I would say I have gotten used to the feeling and I feel rather great dancing for people cause' when I am dancing, I actually would try to immerse myself into the music. Different music actually portrays different feelings. I actually like to sing too. Even my friends agreed that I sang well. :P I had been wondering whether I should create a YouTube channel. But what if nobody listens to me and what if all are dislike votes? These are some consideration I take into..
Putting that aside, I had family gatherings and religious commitments as well. Yesterday(28/6) marks Kenshu 2014, which is a yearly training course for members of the religion. I picked up a lot of learning points from various speakers, and though at times things could be quite boring too, it's actually worth listening. I even took 8 pages of notes as the speaker speaks. So we were released at 10.30PM to wash up and have supper, and at 1AM, the lights were supposed to be out. Though I lied down on my sleeping bag at 2AM, I still can't get to sleep as the room is filled with chattering noises, which I ended up with only 1 hour of sleep. Felt like a zombie along the way home after that. That aside, I was happy that I was given a meaningful book titled," Value Creation For Global Change". I love to read books but I can't find time to settle myself down and read. Normally, I would only read about one chapter of the book and I would "call it a day" cause' I would find it boring after that. I am still trying hard to work time out to read as reading really could broaden one's knowledge. To side track a bit, I actually bought my mum a $100 blender machine! YAY!! *Claps!!!*
Anyways, TOMMORROW IS SCHOOL REOPEN!!! OMG!!! I hate morning classes but luckily mine starts at 10AM on every Monday, which could give me more time to replenish my zombie sleep later on.
Enjoy the rest of the sunday and brace yourself for the new school term!

Fairytale Feat. Chapter 4--> Paintball=PAIN Ball

So today me and my classmates went to Singapore Discovery Centre to play paintball. Apparently, this is the second time we went there cause' the last time we went, it rained, so our paintball session had to be called off.
Today, we went there with blistering hot sun shinning brightly on us. Hence, the game is on! We were briefed and again I got shocked by the sound of the gun. I am actually a person who is easily shocked. But don't take advantage of it!
After awhile, we went on to start the real game. My team was outnumbered by one member cause' there's not enough people playing. At first, I was really nervous cause' I was afraid of the gun sound. Recalling back to when I was primary 4, my parents brought me to the Police Open House. They had a demo of the situation when there was a real kidnap. They really fired a shot!!! It scared the hell out of me and I cried on the spot. Though now I won't cry but I still will be easily scared.
So back to today, the game started and everybody quickly found a barrier to dodge. First round I was the last man standing for my team but I eventually "died" since we were outnumbered.
Second round soon began, and I did dodged properly. However, I took no notice of people on the second floor and got shot in the leg. It hurt my shin area and got bruised real soon. The scary part is that I got shot in the face at the same time when I got shot at my leg. I am like innocently hiding and the next moment, all you know was that you got 3 consecutive shots on you. Since the face mask have openings for you to breath, the paint sipped through the holes and got into my mouth and I accidentally tasted the paint. It was quite salty :P
When I took off my mask, my bottom right of the face was covered with paint. So third round, I got really tired of hiding and my arms got really aching. So I just rested my arms on the barrier and the next moment, two bullets brushed through my right forearm and later on, a "passageway" was formed. It's like a straight line of marks forming due to the brushing of bullets.
Overall, it was a nice game but the bruise did hurt. Another thing was that I got to see the rough video that the crew had compiled, and I am really satisfied with my expressions and tone pitches. Really proud of myself! I need to thank the crew members for doing a good job and also the director who gave me the chance to act.

Fairytale Feat. Chapter 3-->All Well End Well

Finally the filming came to an end after two days. It's really not easy being the main character I would say, cause' you have a lot more lines to remember than other supporting roles. Having the fear of a lot of NGs and wasting other people's time, I keep pressing myself to remember the lines by hard, word for word.
However, it's like the more you press yourself, the more you cannot remember well. So I feedback to my producer, telling her that I am afraid that I might forget the lines. I asked her if she could cut the part into two, so I could break awhile after a long line, following another long line afterwards. I am relieved that she cut my lines so that I don't have to remember all of it.
My producer also told me that me(as a first time acting newbie) already did very well with all those changing expressions and voice pitches. Of course, I would be happy about it.
Basically, my given wardrobe today was a black hoodie since I need to portray a dark side of me. The rest was my own clothes. My props was black gloves(to prevent getting my fingerprints on the crime prop) and a knife filled with fake blood. All of these props would bring the mystery to another level, so thumbs up to the scriptwriter a.k.a my producer. Unfortunately, I accidentally cut myself with the knife as I did not realised it was on my hands. I just slide it across without even knowing that I am holding a knife(a real knife for goodness sake!). Fortunately, the wound is not that deep. I guess sacrifizations are inevitable.
Tomorrow would be their editing process, and hopefully I could receive the final video as soon as possible. Sadly, I don't think I would post it on my blog as I respect their privacy and copyright infringements.
So no photo was taken as usual but I am glad that we wrapped up everything successfully.
Last but not least, I would like to offer my appreciation to this person-->Kun Han, for without him, my acting wouldn't be real and convincing. :) Hope you enjoyed the process as much as I do. :p

Fairytale Feat. Chapter 2

Today I want to share about my acting/filming experience. So basically I am helping my SP friend's project work. They basically need to shoot a film for their holiday assignment.
The film title is "Doubt". This is kind of a mysterious ambience, where the killer(Which is me) needs to portray a few characters/mindset. In the day, he is a good student, someone who is very innocent and well-liked among his friends. At night, he portrays a second character. This is where the spilt personality will enter. This is where the doubt arises. What is his real character? Is he a killer? Is he a good boy? Or what?
These are some of he questions audiences will ask. It's actually quite a short film which would last around 5-6 minutes. But, the shooting process is definitely not easy. Of course. in this film, the killer is the main character. The rest are supporting characters. Naturally, I would have more lines to say and more solo/close-up shots to film.
At first, we took 6 NGs to shoot the first scene. I guess it's all our first time to act, which is why we keep laughing and cannot get things right. But as we shoot the second and third scene, our NGs became lesser and eventually a one-take ok was resulted.
So in between scenes, I had close-up of me smirking and back view of my close up shot. It's definitely exciting as I always wished to try out in acting. I wanted to act in different characteristics, namely: Bi-polar, split personality and rebellious kid. I wanted to try out areas where I had never portray at all. I am quite satisfied with my performance today since my solo and close-up shots was completed within one take.
Tomorrow's scene is where they shoot me showing my hidden identity, where they would reveal me as the killer. This is where the mystery shows up. I am also suppose to show that I believe in my own justice, though it may seems that I am wrong. Today was all my innocent and cheerful scenes.
Sadly, I didn't took any pictures with the crew members. But I learnt from my producer that she got the idea from the Death Note, which is also kind of mysterious.
So excited to see our final product and I hope to get a copy of it, so I could keep it as a part of my memory even if my memories fail.

Start of my new fairytale

I know this is like the don't know how many times I am trying to revive my blog. I always find no time to update it or I may even forget about the presence of my blog.
Alright, so the first post that I had revived would talk about exciting happenings of my family. Here we go!
08/06/2014:
It's a very special day for my family cause' it's my uncle's wedding. So apparently, after the tea serving ceremony, I am asked to dance to entertain the guests due to popular demand. So I danced in front of my relatives and even taught my aunt some basic steps to keep my Ah Ma's smile on her face.
Imagine me driving, what will happened?
So this is my outfit of the night. Dull colour clothes for me is an absolute NO NO!! Which is why I wore different shades of colours on that night.
My Ah Ma is the happiest of all that night. Her smile could emit some radiances of sunshine into the ballroom, which could further add on to the luminous efficacy from the lightbulbs on the ceilings.
In the midst of eating, there is this lil' cutie pie, who like to come to my table and talk to us. Being small and curious, he keep wanting to try on my tie. Which is why there's an adult-sized tie around his neck.
My favourite dish of that night was none other than the dessert--> Mango Pudding with fruits.
Finally, I herby wish my uncle a blissful and happy and everlasting marriage.
To me, everlasting love is very simple. It actually take two hands to clap. Same goes for a happy relationship. Both partners should care for each other. It's alright to bicker in my opinion, cause plain rice aren't that tasty after all. We need to add in some "spices" to spice up our relationship, and that's what makes it fun after all. With that, it sums up my happy Sunday.
09/06/2014:
Le outing with family featuring my #ootd.
(Top photo is what my mum wants me to pose, and it pretty much looks like a blockhead to me. Bottom photo is what I want to pose, which I love it very much.)
Driving along the way--> But first let us take a selfie. (Ok maybe not just one)
Happy outing at sentosa with my family. Happy moments need to be spent with loved ones. No matter how great your friends are, always know how to prioritized your family first, for without them there won't be you in the world. Pictures speak a thousand words:
My new fairytale shall end here but everyday there would be different fairytale stories being painted. Mine wouldn't be dull and that's for sure. Spend every quality moment wisely.
Oh and to explain what my blog URL means, it includes:
Yongwonhi-->Forever/Eternal
Saranghae-->Love<3
With that, Annyeong! :)
